Rainier Chorale is a community choir with a proud history and a vibrant future, serving the Southeast Puget Sound area from Renton to Auburn, including Kent and surrounding communities. Our singers span generations, professions, and backgrounds, united by a shared love of music. Some have sung for decades, others are returning after years away, and many are eager to grow their voices in harmony with others.
Each year we present three distinct seasons: a festive Christmas concert, a powerful Masterworks program, and a lively Pops concert that often feature Broadway, jazz, and/or popular favorites. This variety inspires our singers and delights our audiences year after year.
The Chorale is more than music– it’s friendship, tradition, and community. Whether you want to lift your voice with us, experience the magic of a live performance, or support the arts in our community — there’s a place for you in our story.

We meet almost every Tuesday during the school year at 7:00 p.m. (except the 3rd rehearsal is on a Monday, 9/8).

New singers are WELCOME to come and check us out. Our next audition opportunity will be for our Christmas Concerts in December. The first rehearsal for these concerts is scheduled for August 26, 2025.
Auditions will be held after the second rehearsal.
Joining the Chorale is easy!
The audition is low-key, and you don’t need to bring any special music. We start our rehearsals on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

We have a terrific Director and the choir’s camaraderie is great. We work hard and have fun at rehearsals. We put on three marvelous concerts a year — plus we sometimes sing for other special events and venues, including Benaroya Hall in Seattle. We all enjoy parties and events together just for fun.
What are we like? We range in age from twenty-something to seventy-something. We pursue almost as many professions as there are people in the Chorale. Want to know more? Click here.
