You will not want to miss Rainier Chorale’s annual Masterworks concert, featuring the Consonare chorus of Rainier Youth Choirs.
After polling the chorale members for their favorite songs over the past twenty-five years, we’ve come up with a fascinating program of music throughout the ages. We’ll sing some early music by Franz Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Mozart, a mid-nineteenth-century motet by Anton Bruckner, and a smattering of music by more contemporary classical composers. Some of our favorite composers, including Dan Forrest, Daniel Elder, and Morten Lauridsen, wrote these selections.
