In June, Rainier Chorale will present “Pop Music Through the Years” with songs from each decade from the ‘60s to the ‘20s. Starting with the Beatles in the ‘60s, we move on to ABBA (who could resist “Dancing Queen”?), then we Journey to “Don’t Stop Believin’”, sing a bit of Sting in the ‘90s, look at a contemporary Greg Jasperse song, sing some Coldplay from the ‘10s and end with the recent academy award-winning song from the film “Barbie”, “What Was I Made For?” Filled with more current memorable songs, small groups, soloists, a great back-up band and a guest appearance by Green River Voices from Green River College, it should be great fun for all. You’ll want to bring the entire family! We hope to see you there!

Tickets for the performance are likely to sell out due to the limited capacity of the performance space and the popularity of the program. We encourage you to purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Special thanks to 4 Culture and the Kent Arts Commission for their generous support of these performances.
